Here's the very complicated band biography

cellardoorcopy.jpg

Wow, where to start? Before Tom was confident on the drums, Daniel went through a couple of small bands which never really got started properly. Such as the much talked about, hardly played HakiSac, and another band who were called Radish (but Radish was, as a lot of music fans know, a underground light grunge band of the 90's.) Then along came the short-lived Burnt Sugar which Tom was also in, ...... kinda. It was really Daniel and another boy called William Baines who continually had disagreements about the music. They recorded a song called "Change" which Daniel, to this day, is not happy with. After a few very unsuccesful practices Daniel and Tom had been talking about asking Will to leave the band but neither of them wanted to be the one to do it. Daniel decided to try and piss off Will until he left the band. Which was a success! By that time the band had changed their name to Cellar Door and Daniel and Tom began jamming together. The chemistry worked really well and the band as you know now was born.

For a small while Cellar Door was another 3 piece with another vocalist Kat but sadly she and the band have now, for numerous reasons, gone their separate ways.
After some time the band started jamming with a new bassist, Malvena Benn who played a cover gig with them when the band decided to ask her to join full time,
